CAT Architectural services has been formed by Claire Townsend who has worked in the architectural industry since 2000 after graduating from London Guildhall University in 2003.

She has worked on a wide variety of residential projects from loft conversions to large bespoke dwellings and developer led housing schemes mainly within the Sussex area from concept through to completion.

This is what Claire has to say:
“There has been quite a lot of change in the architectural market since I first started working in the industry, which began with a lot of large developer led housing projects.
This came to a stop during the 2008 crash leaving a lot of architectural practices shedding their staff or closing altogether.
Slowly the market began to recover with more people wanting to extend their existing homes. This has been a continuing trend ever since as the housing market is still very expensive and people are deciding to unlock the full potential of their existing properties with more and more ambitious and innovative ideas.”
